As a child growing up in rural Alabama, back yard barbecues werent just barbecues, they were a family tradition. A way of life.... Everyone would come together, and the entire Sunday would revolve around it. The boys would play football and the girls would play house. The men would talk about sports, and the women would talk about the men. And grandpa.... Well, grandpa was in charge of the grill. Since grandpa always liked me best, I got to lick the spoon from his homemade sauces as long as I didnt tell the other kids. It was like candy to me. So now, you too can taste grandpas variety of real, southern, homemade barbecue sauces. Not that watered down, runny, who-knows-how-old, artificial this-and-that, crap from the store. So call up your friends and family, its been too long anyways. Wipe off the grill (and the football), and whip up a couple jars of Robs Rib Shacks homemade barbecue sauce.
